Yes, by this stage album length restrictions weren’t based upon the limited duration of the vinyl record, as had been the case in AC/DC’s earlier career, but there’s something to be said for a really tight 40-minute album. If it wasn’t for the poor sonic qualities, this album would rank significantly higher, but it just isn’t enjoyable to listen to as the distortion has been taken a few steps too far.
